Dinner was a little tense. Morse had nothing to say about it. Hertz claims he stumbled and pulled a few feathers out on accident trying to catch himself. Neither of them liked that I was questioning them about it. Hertz did come and pick up the feathers, but the blood droplets are still on the floor. I guess I'll be cleaning those up myself.
